It Was A Very Merry Christmas....

Me and Dave went to Ogden for Christmas on Wednesday. The trip out the roads were great. We spent the Christmas holiday with family and friends. We got to be with Gracie Jane for her first Christmas. She was so cute she loved her presents. We had a great time with Stephanie's Mom and Brothers opening presents and eating a tasty brunch Stephanie made for us. That evening we went to Steph's Fathers to have wonderful prime rib dinner. A winter storm really hit while we was there. We left about 9:00 and it was a blizzard outside...we did not attempt the freeway on our way home. We all got home safe and then half an hour later it was over. Ogden received 4-5" in about 2 hours. We left Friday at 1:30 and the roads was snow packed in Weber Canyon and over Strawberry, we got home about 5:30 a little longer than normal...but safe. We had a great time and loved being with Tim, Stephanie and Gracie Jane for this special holiday.

Employee Of The Year...WOW

My Honey Dave received news yesterday that he is the employee of the year at his job. I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard this year and hasn't complained. Of course the long hours are hard for both of us, but he is such a good example. He will be receiving more information about everything in about 2 weeks.

Same Employer...New Job...

Monday I was offered a new job at Basin Sports. I had a very hard time deciding to take it or not, I was to give my answer Wednesday. Tuesday night it hit me this is what I have wanted since I was in high school. All the classes I took in high school and some college classes was all about accounting so here was my chance. So I said YES! I am moving from Computer Receiving clerk to Accounts Payable and Receivable. I make the move the first of the year. I am very excited and also very nervous. I must admit I needed the change, I have done the inventory there for almost 7 years. I will keep you informed of my new adventure...

Santa's Little Reindeer...

Me and Dave went for a ride today and seen a few of Santa's reindeer...we had a fun little ride. I needed to get away...Dave has been traveling a lot and I have been a little couped up so I loved the getaway. Dave got home Friday about 10:00...I was sleeping when he arrived so we didn't really talk till Saturday...he talked and talked and talked. I've haven't heard him sooooo much in so long...it was nice to hear his stories. They say his work will be slow till after Christmas so maybe we will see more of each other for a few weeks.

Home Alone...

Dave is off to foreign land...well not really just Duncan, Oklahoma. He got to his hotel about 12:30 last night. He was to leave at 3:30 yesterday but the flight never left till 5:30 so he landed in Denver with 5 minutes to catch the next flight. He made it there and then when he arrived in Oklahoma City he then had an hour drive. He was up and ready for class this morning at 7:00...then the class was canceled today because they didn't have a part they needed for the truck...so needless to say he is board in the motel room! I've been getting a lot of phone calls...anyway he'll be home Friday.
