Finally on the road!!!

Dave and I finally took the big plunge
today and yesterday and went out
on our bikes...Oh I was a happy girl!
It was so SWEET...I did better than
I expected for not riding all winter.
We did not go far, 8 miles today,
but it was great. I am now wanting
to go all the time, I knew that would
happen, I love riding.

Easter Weekend...

Me & Dave went to Ogden the Saturday
before Easter. We stayed with
Tim, Stephanie & Gracie Jane. It was
nice to spend Easter together.
We went on a walk down by the stream,
it was so nice to get out for a little
exercise. We are so ready for spring.
Easter Sunday we enjoyed going to
church and feeling the spirit, and
spending time with our family.

Here are a few picture of Gracie and
here Easter eggs she wanted to eat the
whole thing...she is so CUTE!!!

Our Cruise...

On he 21st of March we set off on a tropical voyage to the
Western Caribbean with our Brother and Sister Vince and Diane.
Oh what a wonderful time, it was beautiful and warm
(Oh so warm). We left Salt Lake Saturday at 7:05am
and landed in Atlanta at 12:47pm. From Atlanta we flew
to Ft. Lauderdale. We arrived at 3:25pm an then traveled to
our ship (Ruby Princess) and arrived about 4:30. We sailed out
to sea at 5:00 and we our on way to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
We were at sea Sunday and arrived at Jamaica Monday morning.
Jamaica was very interesting to say the least. They make their
living by tourism and they want your business. We took a taxi
and went to the Dunn's River Falls. It was very beautiful, we
walked down to the ocean and then it was quite a hike out.
After that we decided to get back on the boat.
Then the next day we went to Grand Cayman, we shopped and
shopped and shopped, I loved every minute of it. Wednesday
we arrived at Cozumel, Mexico. My favorite spot on the cruise,
it was amazing. We took a tour van to the Mayan Ruins called
San Gervasio, so much history there. After the ruins we went
to a beach and hung out for a while.
Thursday we were at sea all day. On our ship they had movie
under the stars. We watched Australia that evening, we lay
in lounge chairs under the stars and ate popcorn and watched
a movie as we sailed. Oh what the life.
Friday we arrived at Princess Cays, this is beach that Princess
purchased on the Bahama island. We layed on the beach a while,
then walked and collected some beautiful shells. After that we
went to a barbecue they prepared.
Saturday we docked at Ft. Lauderdale at 7:00am.
We were all kinda sad to see it all end. We flew out at 11:10am to
go back to Atlanta. Left Atlanta at 1:50pm and arrived in Salt Lake
around 4:00pm. We loved the trip so much, we can't wait to go on
another cruise. We have many pictures here is a few...

Let it snow...

Dave went to Kansas from Wednesday to Saturday on a job, Saturday night they was in a town near Denver and the roads was closed to get back home. So they decided Sunday morning that they would take off for Wyoming for the interstate. Because they did have the right permits for Wyoming on a couple trucks, they had to be left in Colorado. The next morning they was on their way...well needless to say Wyoming roads was not any better. They then had trucks scattered on the interstate...under over passes...or where ever they could find a spot. Dave got home late Sunday night. They had to go today (Wednesday) to pick them up. We got about a foot of snow overnight...we need it so I am very grateful and grateful Dave made it home safe. Here is a few pictures of the pile of snow in front of our house after scraping the drive way.

My Favorite Thing....

This week-end I did my favorite thing...spent time with my Son, Daughter-in-Law and Granddaughter. We spend some quality time together (Tim kinda cheated us a bit).
Gracie is crawling all over...she is so cute and such a good baby.
We just want Steph and Tim to know how proud we are of the great job they are doing raising and caring for Gracie.

It Was A Very Merry Christmas....

Me and Dave went to Ogden for Christmas on Wednesday. The trip out the roads were great. We spent the Christmas holiday with family and friends. We got to be with Gracie Jane for her first Christmas. She was so cute she loved her presents. We had a great time with Stephanie's Mom and Brothers opening presents and eating a tasty brunch Stephanie made for us. That evening we went to Steph's Fathers to have wonderful prime rib dinner. A winter storm really hit while we was there. We left about 9:00 and it was a blizzard outside...we did not attempt the freeway on our way home. We all got home safe and then half an hour later it was over. Ogden received 4-5" in about 2 hours. We left Friday at 1:30 and the roads was snow packed in Weber Canyon and over Strawberry, we got home about 5:30 a little longer than normal...but safe. We had a great time and loved being with Tim, Stephanie and Gracie Jane for this special holiday.

Employee Of The Year...WOW

My Honey Dave received news yesterday that he is the employee of the year at his job. I am so proud of him. He has worked so hard this year and hasn't complained. Of course the long hours are hard for both of us, but he is such a good example. He will be receiving more information about everything in about 2 weeks.
